During Sri Rama Navami, people fast and offer prayers to Lord Rama. The temples are beautifully decorated, and the idols of Lord Rama are taken in a procession. Holi, the festival of colors, is celebrated with great enthusiasm. People smear each other with colors, sing and dance to the beats of dhol.

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated for eleven days in Telangana. People bring home idols of Lord Ganesha and worship them with devotion. The idols are taken in a procession on the last day and immersed in water bodies.
